Junebug Bayer is a performance artist from Santa Cruz, California who specializes in folk-fusion fingerstyle guitar. She also tap dances and plays harmonica, autoharp, kazoo, trumpet, ukulele, and banjo.
Honing her crafts over a period she calls “the wandering years,” Junebug wrote and recorded music while travelling and working odd jobs both on land and at sea, eventually landing in New York City where she began busking and performing at open mics while also developing her skills as a tap dancer.
Junebug has released one album to date: “Unpolished,” an eclectic mix of original tunes which serve as an ode to her wandering years. She has returned to Santa Cruz and is now leading a dual career as Veterinary Technician and performance artist.
